Festival of India 2011

Apsaras has been integral part of Festival Of India for long time and I can vouch that Festival Of India dance and program quality has gone to new heights because of Uma Chetty and Apsaras. They have consistently helped to raise the bar for other performers to follow.

I do not have enough words to thank Uma Chetty as well as all the apsaras for their support and hard work for the wonderful perfomances through out FOI.

Thanks.

Chetan Mehta
Cultural Program Director

Omi & I always look forward to the performances by "Apsaras" of all ages at the FOI. The grace, elegance and precision of performers, along with the choice of music and awesome costumes can only be described as "Excellent". The audience can't help but feel joyful and elated by these performances.  The kudos, ofcourse goes to the Teachers, Parents and Students of Apsara School of Dance.

Keep up the good work and thank you for all you do for the community and our youngsters who are so lucky to be exposed to the beauty and charm of the Apsaras.

Uma, I would dearly love to have access to Sitar music that was used during a couple of Apsara performances at the Festival.

Thanks.
